SS Minnow Fishing Report June 22 2013

I took a run out to my regular fishing grounds out of Wheatley harbour yesterday. The picture looks pretty bleak right now. Water surface temperature was 65 degrees. Last year a week earlier, water surface temperature was 72 degrees.

I did a run out of about 12 miles and I just did not mark any fish at all on my fishfinder. I understand there are some walleye right out at the end of Point Pelee but I didn’t go there.

WE need some hot weather right now to warm that water! Looks like some warm weather this next week. I will be watching the water temps and hope conditions improve soon.
