The walleye are moving in and the action is picking up. It was a rather poor day but things were picking up steam near Leamington Ontario. Today boats were catching walleye between Leamington dock and west to the Union water Pumping station. The targetted depth currently appears to be 18-24 feet of water although several larger fish were marking out in 33 feet of water.
Farther west near Colchester harbor, the locals have been catching walleye prior to now and of course Pelee Island has offered some great walleye fishing for a few weeks now. The NE corner has been a hotspot.
