Spoon Colors Rainbow Fishing Wheatley
Fishing for walleye and rainbow trout is really picking up and with the weather the next week, it should be in full swing by the coming weekend. I took my little 15 footer out Sunday morning and went SE out of Wheatley harbour to 50 feet of water. I fished until 11:00 A.M. and boated 4 real nice walleye and 2 very good rainbows as well. I was simply fishing 2 large dipsy divers with 80 feet of line out. Good colors for me were my own custom painted purple pink spoon and a copper spoon by Yeck Lures.
It is working it’s way around to a fun summer of fishing out of Wheatley for Rainbows and walleye.
