Fishing Report Lake Erie Leamington June 22
Fishing near Leamington has been a bit slow this week. Late day has been best. Not to worry – after 25 years of watching, I beleive strongly in the solunar tables and moon effect on fishing. We are in a poor moon period but will pull out shortly and move into a couple of good weeks. People are streaming into Leamington marina early this morning (Saturday). Should be a good indicator where the best activity is currently. I don’t have a hotspot to give you firsthand but down near the end of Point Pelee has appeared to be best at this time.
They are starting to catch some rainbows (steelhead if you prefer this fancy term) east of Wheatley harbor.
