Walleye – Erie North Shore

Guys are starting to catch walleye west of Leamington dock. Most reported at 24 feet of water and shallower. This is pretty early in the season for this action and bodes well for the upcoming season. Most guys are pulling harnesses or bottom bouncers very slowly.

Anyone interested in local waypoints can email me and I will be glad to help you out.

Fishing Western Lake Erie

Fishing in Canadian waters of Western Lake Erie is starting to pick up steam now. Walleye fishing near Pelee Island has been good with lots of large fish showing up. The NE corner has been good in about 25′ water. Mainland – Colchester area heating up for walleye and perch.

Leamington area – good perch fishing about 8 miles south and walleye starting to show up in 24 feet of water. This is pretty early for walleye in Leamington so the the signs offer hope for a great season.
